Deputy Nadirashvili: Mayor of Tbilisi - professional corruption
The mayor of Tbilisi Kahu Koladze, a member of Parliament from the European Georgia party Irma Nadirashvili, was accused of fraud of voters and corruption. She said this at a briefing on February 15, the agency Novosti-Georgia reports. Nadirashvili commented on the news about the termination of the dispute of the City Hall with the company C.T. Park, which for many years was a monopoly on paid parking services in Tbilisi, having received for use city assets. The parties agreed that for 4.3 million lari (about $1.3 million) it will give up the received assets and withdraw the claim. Kaha Kaladze formed as a professional corrupt. He made a statement that from the budget not a penny will be spent on termination of this contract, and this promise was during the election period, Nadirashvili said. She noted that the change of parking owner did not make the service better. Nadirashvili also stated that the city budget of the litigation cost 12 million lari (about $4.2 million), as in addition to the retreat allegedly had to spend money on lawyers. It should be noted that under the concluded agreement, 4.3 million lari will be paid to C.T. Park from the income received by the City Hall of Tbilisi from paid parking. Recall, C.T. Park received the rights to provide paid parking services under the previous mayor of Tbilisi Gigi Ugulava, who is part of the same party as Nadirashvili.
