In France, 10 million workers & laquo; protected & raquo; program of partial unemployment
France's labor minister Muriel Penico said 10.2 million private sector workers were now protected by the partial unemployment program, Le Figaro reported. The publication notes that the Ministry of Labour has issued a decree aimed at further expanding the number of professions that can qualify for the partial unemployment programme. Among them are models, freelance journalists and even flight attendants. According to the Ministry, 820,000 companies in France requested access to the programme. There is no reason for activity in France to remain lower than in other countries. This is of great concern to me, said the Minister of Labour of France, noting that economic activity has fallen by 36% since the entry into force of the isolation regime. According to the news agency, earlier French President Emmanuel Macron held a video conference with representatives of the religious world.
