Iranians returned from Oman due to COVID-19


On 24 April, with the cooperation of the King of Oman, the eighth flight of Muscat-Tehran was made since the outbreak of coronavirus began to spread, resulting in the return of Iranians living in Oman to their homeland. This was reported by the Iranian agency IRNA. The Iranian Ambassador to Oman, Mohammad Reza Nuri-Shahrudi, thanked the Government, in particular the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as well as airport staff for their cooperation in this area. The Government of Oman is actively cooperating with the Islamic Republic of Iran in this direction, the Iranian Ambassador said, expressing also hope that more flights will be planned in the near future, and compatriots wishing to return home will be able to do so. Earlier this week, a seventh flight was made from Oman to Iran since the outbreak of coronavirus infection (COVID-19) began to spread.
