Two deaths as a result of coronavirus infection have been recorded in New Zealand over the past 24 hours, the press service of the New Zealand Ministry of Health reports. It is noted that both deaths were elderly. Since the beginning of the pandemic in New Zealand, 11 people have died from diseases caused by SARS- CoV -2 coronavirus. The number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 has also increased to 1,409. According to the news agency, on April 15, members of the New Zealand government reduced their salary by 20%. The decision was taken to equalize the income of citizens affected by the coronavirus pandemic.
