Widget system iOS 14 can become the same as Android


In Apple's new operating system (OS) iOS 14, Apple can make the widget system more flexible and similar to the one present in Android. This was announced on April 4 by the portal 9to5Mac. Journalists of the publication loaded data in the OS code, which makes it clear: the new system, which is still called Avocado, will allow to place widgets not on the selected screen, as it is implemented now, but in any place like icons, that is, as it is implemented in Android. However, journalists warned that Apple is still working on this feature and it cannot be guaranteed that it will definitely appear on the OS when released. Apple is expected to present iOS 14 in June 2020 at the Worldwide Developers Conference (if it is not cancelled due to the coronavirus epidemic). It is also contemplated that the operating system will become the base for the upcoming iPhone 12.
