Sales of the new Volkswagen Jetta started in Russia

Dealers of the German automaker Volkswagen in Russia have begun selling the new Jetta. This was reported by the press service of the company. In total, three new features will be available: Origin, Respect, Status. The car was created on the modular platform MQB. The line of machine units includes two motors. The first atmospheric MPI with a capacity of 110 horses, and the second 150-horsepower turbocharged TSI engine. The standard unit is combined with a 5-speed mechanic or a 6-speed automatic, and the second turbocharged engine works exclusively with an automatic transmission. Automakers equipped the model with steel wheels measuring 16 inches, rear-view mirrors with electrical adjustment and heating, as well as air conditioning, LED optics and cruise control. The cheapest configuration of the new Jetta costs 1.485 million rubles. Earlier it became known that Volkswagen plans to acquire the car rental company Europcar Mobility Group.
