Two Czech citizens expelled from Moscow left the territory of Russia

Two Czech citizens who were expelled from Moscow in response to the expulsion from the Czech Republic of two Russian citizens have already left Russian territory and are going home. This was announced to reporters on June 17 by the press secretary of the Czech Foreign Ministry Zuzana Shtikhova. Two expelled (Czech citizens) left the territory of Russia and continue on their way to the Czech Republic, she said. It is also known that due to the lack of aviation communication between Russia and the Czech Republic due to the coronavirus pandemic, expelled citizens travel home by car. Recall, as reported by the news agency, on June 15, Czech Ambassador to Moscow Vitezlav Pivonka was summoned to the Russian Foreign Ministry, where he was informed that two Czech citizens who work in Moscow were declared non-grata persons and should leave the territory of the Russian Federation within 48 hours as a response to the expulsion from Prague of two employees of the Russian diplomatic mission. At the same time, later the Czech Foreign Ministry did not specify who exactly was expelled from Moscow.
