Chinese Tencent wants to buy developer Warframe and Dark Sector

The Chinese company Tencent is in talks over the purchase of Leyou Technologies, the parent company of Digital Extremes. This was announced on July 10 by the Comibook portal. According to the latest information, representatives of Leyou Technologies confirmed that the company has entered into a preliminary agreement with Tencent regarding a possible acquisition. The company temporarily stopped trading on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. It is worth noting that in addition to Digital Extremes, which develops the multiplayer game Warframe, Leyou Technologies also owns the studio Splash Damage, which gamers know about working on the project Gears Tactics. Tencent already owns shares of such well-known companies in the gaming industry as Epic Games, Supercell, Fatshark, Funcom, Grinding Gear Games and Paradox Interactive. Since 2015, she also fully owns Riot Games.
