The Russian Foreign Ministry called the order information about Moscow's hand in riots in Serbia
The appearance in the media of reports that a Russian trace is allegedly traced in the riots in Belgrade is a low-level order that may cast a shadow on relations between Russia and Serbia. This is stated in the official comment of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, distributed today, July 9. Recall that riots began in the capital of Serbia on July 7 due to the fact that the country's president Alexander Vucic ordered a curfew, as the situation with coronavirus in Serbia is clearly worsening. Initially, the protests were peaceful, but after the protesters tried to break into the parliament building, the police used tear gas and rubber batons. The Serbian television channel N1, which is a subsidiary of the American CNN, broadcast from the scene in Belgrade. A certain woman who introduced herself as a Russian citizen got into the broadcast. She stated that she was fighting against the dictatorship of Vucic. Later, the Center for Euro-Atlantic Studies in Serbia described this as Russian handwriting in organizing protests. On Smolensk Square, they said that all this was a low-level order in order to denigrate Russian-Serbian relations. Obviously, the authors of this stuffing are trying to follow the well-known conspiracy theories of their sponsors, who everywhere cross the hand of Moscow. In fact, we are talking about a low-level order, pursuing one goal, to cast a shadow on the Russian-Serbian partnership, the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a comment.
