Counter-Strike CSPPA Promoter Association Changes Rating System

The Counter-Strike Professional Players Association (CSPPA) has announced a new rating system. This was announced on August 16 by PC Gamer magazine. The organization noted that the introduction of this system, which introduces more transparent ratings, will contribute to achieving its main goal: improving the conditions for professional e-athletes. In an official press release, CSPPA wrote that existing rating systems do not protect gamers if they cannot participate in the match due to health problems or emotional burnout. It is worth noting that many gamers did not agree with the results of the formation of lists on the new system, which did not coincide with the ratings of ESL (Electronic Sports League) and HLTV (Half-Life TV). CSPPA, in turn, explained that this is the first version of the rating and that the organization is ready to accept criticism from fans. CSPPA was created in 2018, its headquarters is located in the Danish capital Copenhagen. The founders of the organization were Scott Smith (SirScoots), legal adviser Michael Doy and Director General of the Danish Association of Elite Athletes Mads Oland.
