Greece called Turkey's actions in the Mediterranean a regional threat

Greece regarded Turkey's actions in the Mediterranean Sea as a threat to the security of the entire region. This is stated in a message sent by Greece to the UN, reports Greek radio and television. It is noted that in the message, the Permanent Representative of Greece to the UN, Maria Teofili, called the presence of the Turkish ship Oruc Reis in the country's offshore area illegal. (Turkey's actions) cannot go unanswered, because they pose a threat to security throughout the region, the message says. According to the news agency, the hydrographic service of Antalya issued an international alert for research near the island of Castelorizo from July 21 to August 2. It is announced that the Oruc Reis research vessel will be located in this area. 15 warships also went to the place. In response, Greece put the armed forces on alert.
