The Lebanese Ministry of Health called the situation in Beirut a complete disaster

This opinion was expressed on August 5 by the country's Minister of Health Hamad Hassan, Sky News Arabia reports his words. The head of the country's Ministry of Health also noted that this situation is aggravated by the fact that an epidemic of coronavirus infection is added to the consequences of the explosion. We are struggling to help (the victims), accept and save everyone, despite the lack of capabilities, materials and medical supplies, Hassan said. In addition, he specified that at the moment about 100 people died as a result of the explosion, many are listed as missing and more than 4 thousand were injured due to what happened. Note, as reported by the news agency, earlier the governor of Beirut Marwan Abboud said that after the explosion in the port of the capital of Lebanon, ten rescuers were killed.
