France urged Italy to accept a ship with 133 refugees

France demanded that Italy accept the ship Aylan Kurdi with 133 refugees on board, owned by the non-profit organization Sea Eye. On Thursday, September 24, reports Le Figaro. A ship with refugees rescued from Saturday, September 19, in the Mediterranean Sea, can make a call to the port of the French city of Marseille after refusing to accept it from Italy and Germany. However, the official representative of the French Ministry of Internal Affairs, Gabriel Attal, asked the Italian authorities to accept the ship and promised to help them with the landing. All must respect the principles of humanitarian law, including the rule of the nearest port. We will find a solution, and a non-governmental organization will have to comply with it, Attal added. We will remind, earlier, after an unsuccessful attempt to stick to the shores of Italy, the Sea Eye team announced that it would change the crew of the ship in Marseille and prepare for a new departure to save refugees in the Mediterranean.
