Interpol notes the transition of cybercrime to outsourcing

In recent years, cybercrime has been outsourcing, said Major General Alexander Prokopchuk, head of the National Central Bureau (NCB) of Interpol of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, in an interview with TASS. Cybercrime in the darknet presented.
"Russia, as a global centre of cybercrime, is experiencing exponential growth. There is a case when a huge criminal forum, selling illicit goods, is hosted in Moscow," Prokopchuk said.
The NCB is one of Russia's eight federal agencies to fight criminal activity, corruption, terrorism, drug trafficking, extremism, and cybercrime.
According to the head of the agency, Russian specialists in this area work closely with their counterparts in Interpol, international investigators and police units. "At the moment, more than 10 Russian companies are currently competing in the market in the field of global cybercrime," he added.
The NCB has developed working groups in the fields of information security and trade, as well as state protection.
"Along with their work in fighting crime, we offer services to foreign clients: support for establishing court proceedings, advising on cooperation in criminal cases and establishing international criminal networks," Prokopchuk website.
