Kazakhstan intends to increase grain exports to China
Kazakhstan announced its intention to significantly increase the volume of grain and flour exports to China. This was reported on September 7 by Xinhua with reference to the corresponding statement made at a press conference in Nur-Sultan by the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic Saparkhan Omarov. It is reported that the Minister announced a forecast of the crop volume this year of 18 million tons, noting that this allows assessing the export potential of 7 8 million tons of grain and flour in grain equivalent. It is noted that the traditional countries of Kazakhstan grain exports, in addition to China, include other Central Asian republics of the post-Soviet space, as well as Iran and Afghanistan.
