Putin congratulated Lyudmila Maksakova on her anniversary
Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated People's Artist of the RSFSR Lyudmila Maksakova on his 80th birthday. She celebrates her anniversary on Saturday, September 26th. The corresponding telegram was published on the Kremlin website. The Russian leader noted. "Fifty years ago you began your work as a young artist in the village of Mykhaylovka in Russia. Over the next few years you became an important artist of many landmarks of Moscow, including by your own choice, Saint Petersburg".

She was a prominent artist of Russian FSR, prolonging her career in show-theatre, film and music. She is a three-time winner of the Soviet Union State Prize, a State Prizes for Dramatic Art and landscape art.
